Barber Skills Development Academy is a nonprofit program dedicated to empowering youth through free barbering education, personal growth, and mentorship. We combine hands-on training with life skills to help students build confidence, discipline, and a brighter future.
Free Barbering Education & Hands-On Training
We provide structured classes that teach the fundamentals of barbering — from fades and shaves to sanitation, client care, and professional ethics. Students receive hands-on practice using real tools, guided by experienced barbers.
Life Skills & Personal Development Workshops
BSDA goes beyond haircuts. We offer sessions focused on communication, discipline, leadership, confidence, and goal-setting — helping youth build the mindset they need for success in life and business.
Mentorship & Career Path Support
Our students are paired with mentors and industry professionals who provide guidance, motivation, and career advice. We also support students in preparing for job opportunities, apprenticeships, or starting their own barbering business.

Meet Our Founders
Cesar Fabián is a master barber, educator, and community leader with over 15 years of experience. As the founder of Barber Skills Development Academy, he’s on a mission to empower underserved youth through the art of barbering, personal growth, and lifelong discipline. His vision is to transform lives—one haircut, one lesson, and one purpose at a time.
